We believe every church member is equipped by God with at least one (often more than one) spiritual gift to help the church grow and minister to our church family and our community.

As you read about the multitude of service ministries described in this catalog, think about what brings you joy and what kind of ministry opportunities excite you. Consider the special skills or abilities God has given you that would be particularly helpful in various ministries. Then pray that God would help you decide where you can join in the work of Grant Avenue to reach our community for Christ.

Ministry Teams

Grant Avenue Baptist Church has formed five ministry teams to provide leadership and direction to each ministry area of the church. The pastor recruits a leader for each team and each team leader recruits other church members to serve as a leadership team. Each ministry team then enlists other church members to assist them in fulfilling their areas of responsibility.

	Love Corvallis Be apart of our outreach and evangelism team as we coordinate and lead various outreach ministries and evangelism events in Corvallis and beyond. Learn More

	Discipleship Team Find out ways you can be involved in the teaching and discipling of our church family. From helping out with the leading of a Bible study to hanging out and chaperoning youth events, there is many ways to get involved. Learn More
	Service Team The service team exists to serve the church and community through various ministries such as meals for families in need, church food closet, and the general maintenance of the church grounds. Learn More
	Welcome Team The welcome team strives to make every visitor and church member feel welcomed at our church. Additionally they head up and lead church wide fellowship gatherings such as the yearly church picnic. Learn More
	Worship Team Our worship team is always looking for musically talented individuals to help lead the church in various forms of worship. Individuals talented in different technology mediums are also needed. Learn More
