Food Closet

Help keep the church food closet well-stocked and organized, put food boxes/baskets together and deliver them to people in need when requested.

Buildings & Maintenance

Assist church custodian with miscellaneous tasks such as carpet cleaning, changing light bulbs, vacuuming pews, cleaning windows, etc.; work on various building projects and repairs.

Landscaping

Help keep landscaped areas of the church looking good by weeding, watering, planting, fertilizing, trimming or mowing.

Child Care

Volunteer once a month to care for infants and preschoolers through age 3 during Sunday morning worship services as part of our extended session program (two teams of two adults are needed each week).

Meals Ministry

Work with church staff, Sunday School teachers and other ministry leaders to identify families or individuals who may need meals brought into their home because of a new baby, a serious illness or surgery, etc., recruit volunteers to provide those meals, prepare meals to take to families with special needs.

Church Bus

Driver — Be willing and able* to drive church bus for senior trips, mission trips, children’s outings or other church-sponsored activities (*Drivers must have a commercial driver’s license and be registered with church insurance company)

Maintenance — Help keep church bus clean and ready for travel (experience in vehicle repair and maintenance preferable).

Hospital Visitation

Visit people in the hospital to minister to them and/or their family, arrange for flower deliveries as requested by church office.

Funeral Hospitality

Organize receptions or meals for families after funeral services

Library

Help keep books, videos, magazines and other resources in church library organized and available for check-out.

Office Help

Assist church secretary with data entry; preparation of bulletins, newsletters or special mailings; fill in as substitute secretary as needed to answer phones and greet visitors during office hours.

Computer Support

Perform technical tasks requiring hardware and software installation and troubleshooting skills; assist with development and maintenance of church Web site.

Counting Team

Collect offerings after worship services; count and deposit offerings in bank.
